How to get to Boracay from Manila | The easiest and fastest way!

How get to Boracay in the Philippines? Look no further, we’ll tell you all about our own experience in this video. We chose an easy, fast and convenient way to get to the island.

We started our journey in Manilla and flew to Caticlan airport, the nearest airport to Boracay. You have many ways to get to Boracay Island, either by pre-booking or doing it yourself in the moment. Since we did not book it yet and knew you could also do it at the place, we decided to wait.

When arriving at the Caticlan airport, you pick up your baggage and leave the terminal. When entering the next building you have the options to just book a transfer to the harbour and arrange everything yourself or to book a whole package. This whole package is fast, easy and it costs 1050 pesos per person. This includes all transfers bringing you to your hotel and also port fee plus environmental fee. We chose Southwest Travel & Tours as we heard good things about them, and they were the first ones we noticed in the arrivals hall.

A door to door service is super easy and gets you to the island pretty fast. So more time for your holiday and less haggling with van and tricycle drivers. Overall we totally recommend booking this whole package, Yes you do spend a little more, but all the mandatory fees are included! So in the end the extra costs are negligible and it makes for an easy and efficient transfer.

  1. I have no intention on going to a crowded tourist trap or overpriced amenities as Boracay. Been to Bali Indonesia which was a crowded place of overtourism especially the beach. However the people in Indonesia are so friendly and helpful. Living in the Philippines, focus on Tagaytay with alot cooler weather. Enjoy.
