  4. such a beautiful country… and peoples

As someone into free diving and scuba. This is def going on the bucket list.

Remember to tip your tour guides people!!! It's a job done out of love and passion, not because it pays the bills (it doesn't pay the bills). And if you think about it, they really are providing a much bigger service than a waiter at a restaurant taking your order.

Trust me, they need the money, they get a really small percentage of that price you paid for booking and they will be very very appreciative that you thought of them and gave them a tip, even if it's on the small side.

I worked tourism for 10~ years on boats. I'd honestly do it if everyone tipped, because that's the difference between having to get a 2nd job and work 60h/wk total vs. being able to afford basic necessities on your 40h/wk job

I worked 7am til about an hour after sunset, 13-14h, on full days.
We would serve food, work the bar and mix drinks, hang out with guests and tell them facts about the island and give them interesting stories, and also work all the responsibilities of boat crew, also all of us certified lifeguards taking them on snorkel tours on the coastline… The amount of people who don't tip for something like this is astounding. Everyone was struggling financially, 80-90% of us had 2nd job or 2nd stream of revenue. It's a beautiful, fun and rewarding job… But make no mistake, it's an absolute labor of love with very little monetary reward.

If you enjoyed the charter/tour and you liked your tour guides or the team members serving you… PLEASE TIP PEOPLE!!! I'm not even in the industry anymore, I just remember how it is. Most these tour guides go above and beyond all the other services you are normally tipping for: taxi, waiter, bartender, delivery guy, etc…, There's no excuse not to

  5. Thanks a lot for the video, i was finding a little difficult to plan my trip to Philippines, since there are 50000000 thousand nice and beautiful places to see. We needed a small guide to help us cut through the clutter. 🙂
